Fargo-Moorhead Community Raises Over $35,000 for Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MNÂ
West Fargo, N.D. (August 20, 2026)Â – Hebron Brick Supply and Alsager Meats are thrilled to announce that this year’s Honor Flight Picnic raised over $35,000 for the Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN, thanks to event sponsorships, free-will donations and raffle ticket sales.
The 2026 Honor Flight Picnic took place in June at Hebron Brick Supply in West Fargo, drawing families and community members of all ages for an evening of food from Alsager Meats, beverages from Brewtus’ Brickhouse, live music by The 60s Guys, and a raffle that ended on August 8 featuring premium prizes, including an electric golf cart valued at over $10,000, a Berlin Gardens Adirondack chair set and a hunting rifle.
All proceeds from the event directly support the Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN, a 100% volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The funds raised will help cover travel, lodging and logistical costs required to send local veterans, many of them seniors or living with terminal illness, to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice.
“We are proud to champion the heroes who protect our freedoms,” said Dan Berglind, Senior Regional Manager at Hebron Brick Supply. “Seeing our community rally together once again was incredibly humbling. This support means more local veterans will get the chance to stand in front of the memorials built in their honor.”

“Alsager is honored to have teamed up with Hebron Brick Supply once again for such a great cause,” said Josh Alsager, owner of Alsager Meats. “Great food brings people together, but it’s the mission of supporting our veterans that brought us together this summer. Every meal served and every dollar raised at this picnic was a direct thank you to the brave men and women who served our country, and we are proud to be part of this mission.”
Hebron Brick Supply and Alsager Meats extend their sincere thanks to the businesses, sponsors, volunteers, veterans and community members whose support made this year’s event such a success.
A special thank you to WDAY Radio and Moorhead American Legion Post 21 for helping make this event possible as key partners, and to Groundworks and the Mollet family for their elevated contributions.
